ECCC Center Survivors Day event Sunday, June 6

Cancer survivors and their families will celebrate successes in their battle against the disease at a free event on Sunday, June 6 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center at Cabell Huntington Hospital. All cancer survivors are invited, along with their families, to this free event.

The theme of this year's celebration is "Hand in hand in the fight against cancer," and as part of that theme, survivors will be invited to participate in a special tile painting project led by artists from The Pottery Place. Music will be provided by Magic 97.9's J.B. Miller.

National Cancer Survivors Day is an annual celebration of life that honors people living with and beyond cancer. This celebration at the Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center on the campus of Cabell Huntington Hospital is one of more than 700 similar events worldwide.
